I have narrowed it to three hotels, now to choose

My choices are in this order

Bay Club

Bahia Inn

The Dana

Im taking votes please, I find pros and cons on both!! who all is going is husband/wife , two boys, and my mother in law (in her own room) We plan on doing Sea World, Zoo, and USS Midway .

My vote: Bay Club.

I actually don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll go wrong with any of the three, but out of caution, I would choose the Bay Club, based on the solid reviews over the years.

I actually like the location of the Bahia and The Dana a tiny bit more, (and I know most people will tell you to go there) but I think for your family, and what you listed as your itinerary, I actually think the Bay club would be better for you in terms of travel distance. Have fun!

I vote for the Bahia. It is right on the Bay and across the street from the ocean. Lots to see and do within walking distance. You can easily rent bikes, and there is an amusement (small scale) park very close by. Because of the two boys I doubt you will be hanging out in your rooms much and the area surrounding the Bahia would be ideal. IMHO.

The Dana only in the NEW section would be the prettiest BUT also the most isolated and you would have to get in the car to go anywhere to eat if you don%26#39;t want to eat at the hotel.

The Bahia has the most ';action'; for the boys and is closest to a real beach but is the furthest from freeways to get to other destinations.

The Bay Club has pretty views and is closer to downtown and has walkable restaurants so unless you are planning beach days that is what I would choose.

I f beach is iimportant to you then I would pick the Bahia.

Well back home, we don%26#39;t live too far from a beach, so that isnt totally essential. We looked over the finalists again, as well as talked to my mother in law, she is going with us too, and we decided on Bay Club!
