Restaurants for Mother's Day

we are coming in on mothers day in the AM and want to know of some nice places to go for a mothers day brunch or dinner. something on the water would be good. mom%26#39;s pretty open when it comes to dining but she likes to try %26#39;new%26#39; foods - that%26#39;s what she calls it coming from the midwest. nothing too over the top fancy but somewhere in between.

she likes a good steak and seafood.

Restaurants for Mother's Day

I know that Bayside is doing a special Mother%26#39;s Day bunch and if it is anything like their normal brunch it will be fantastic! The restaurant is not on the water- it is actually on Bayside Drive just a bit down from the entrance to Balboa Island, but you could always go for a nice walk after brunch.

On the water, I would suggest Harborside. It is right next to the Balboa Pier and has AMAZING views of the harbor. It can be tough to get reservations, but just call and see what is still available. Both have great food and you will definitly have fun :)
