Can anyone tell me approproximate costs for a Taxi from San Fran Airport to Comfort Inn by the Bay, Van Ness Ave?

guessing, it%26#39;s $40 to $45 just to get to downtown, you are at least another $10 to $15 to get to the hotel, $50 to $60? My suggestion is to take BART to Embarcadero Station, accend to street level and get a cab there (you will be right in front of the Hyatt where cabs wait, next to the California line cable car). BART is $5.15 per person and a taxi ride from Drumm and Market should be $15 max. Tell the taxi to take the Broadway Tunnel.

the easiest way to explain this is if taking BART, you have some luggage, look for the elevator, take it up to the fare gated area. Exit by putting your BART fare card in the slot, if you have exact fare, the arms slide back, you exit. Be careful if you have alot of luggage and ask the station agent for help or use the large fare gate. Remember where you are and imagine if the train is on the gated level, walk towards the front of the train and exit the station by the Drumm Street exit which puts you at the Hyatt and taxi line.
