We have a free day at Christmas and were thinking of viisiting Point Reyes. Any thoughts on the wisdom of that plan? THANKS

Where will you be coming from. Do you mean just for the day or an overnighter?

we will be in the area for the day,and will then stay over that night and leave the next morning.
It sounds like a good plan to me. It is a beautiful place, not likely (fingers crossed) to be raining, and there are interesting lodgings on the Point Reyes Peninsula.
Maybe somebody here has specific recommendations?
