Where to buy Levi jeans

Hi all.

I%26#39;m heading to San Diego next week and want to buy some Levi jeans while I%26#39;m out there. They are a whole lot cheaper in the US than in the UK.

I don%26#39;t want to waste time shopping as I only have one day to sightsee so any idea where I can go and get a good selection but can still be in and out again quickly !

JC Penney, the large department store chain, has their summer sale going on right now which includes an extensive selection of Levis.

Agree with HopSkip Jump - we always buy Levis (%26amp; lotsof other clothes !) in San Diego.

J C Penny located in Fashion Valley Mall which is easily reached by the Trolley.

Various other brands sometimes including Levis are also available at Nordstrom Rack (outlet store) at Mission Valley Centre which is 2 stops further out by trolley.

There is a Levi store at Horton Plaza downtown - that is where I always go....

Places listed previously are great places to shop. Know the following disadvantages.

Fashion Valley Mall is one of the most popular Malls in San Diego, which means a lot of time consuming effort getting in, parking, and getting out.

Horton Plaza is also a great mall but the problem there is a generally confusing parking plan in the parking structure (garage). You really need to pay attention to where you parked and also where you make the physical entrance to the stores area. Otherwise you will spend a lot of wasted time trying to find your car. If I remember correctly, the sections on each floor is named after a fruit.

Um, Fashion Valley hard to get to? Horton Plaza confusing.

Yeah -- but what do you want? Seriously not that big of a deal. And BB, bring a lot of money with current exchange rate, everything is going to look cheap to you.

Driving ? Parking? Like, that is SO 90%26#39;s, dude. Take the trolley.

I%26#39;d suggest either checking back here next week or visiting the websites for the department stores to see who has them on sale. Might as well save as much as possible! Often Mervyns or JCPenney have good sales on Levis.

First off.....up front.....I work at a Mervyns.

The prices for Levi Jeans at Mervyns are usually competative with the prices at Penny%26#39;s. I work in the men%26#39;s department of the Sports Arena store.. I frequently get a lot of British and other European customers and lots of them buy several pairs. By the way, I have had a few customers come in and tell me that the prices at the Original Levi Store at Horton Plaze are very high.
