I%26#39;m buying 5 day park hopper souvenir tickets..now my question is when we arrive i want to ';trade'; them in for annual passes and just pay the difference while we are there. So i was just wondering what is the souvenir ticket and can i do this with it? I%26#39;m getting it through AMA, and my travel agent actaully wasn%26#39;t sure if it was possible to even do this. So any help would be great..thanks!
Annual Pass Question
It is always possible to upgrade as long as the AP costs more than the original ticket and as long as you upgrade on or before your last day of use. As far as the souvenior tickets go I believe they will let you keep the paper tickets, they just won%26#39;t work any more.
Be careful not to upgrade before you use your parkhopper benefits like Early Entry, you lose those as soon as you switch to an AP. Also make sure you don%26#39;t upgrade until you%26#39;ve used the parkhopper for any potential blackout days for the AP you are planning on getting.
