I am making a trip to Southern California beginning July 4th. I will be spending a few days in San Diego (2 nights, Omni) and a few days in the Anaheim area (3 nights, TBD). I will be traveling with my 4 year old daughter (will be 5 in August). I want to take her to a water park but I would like know which of the Soak City parks would be the best pick for us. From what I can tell on the Knotts.com site it seems as though the Chula Vista location has more 4-year old appropriate attractions. While my daughter is already over 42';, she is not the ';at least 5 years of age'; stipulation added to most ride descriptions in Buena Park. Any input would be appreciated!
Soak City Chula Vista or Buena Park???
I have heard nothing but glowing things about the Soak CIty Chula Vista park. You do not have to be a great swimmer, and that even the adults would enjoy it. I really know nothing about the BUena Park soak city though so I can%26#39;t really compare them. There is another park called ';the Wave'; in Vista which is still in SD county but in the northern reaches. I think it%26#39;s on a much smaller scale than SOak City though. You may want to keep your eyes open for discount coupons for Soak City when you get here in the summer. They seem to have them every year.
Soak City Chula Vista or Buena Park???
I prefer the little kid area at Wild Rivers in Irvine. They have several scaled down slides that are still exciting enough to keep a 4 year old interested all day. Last summer I had season passes and my 4 year old wanted to go back over and over and over.
