Am coming to San Francisco with a friend for a spot of shopping. Am keen to check out the above stores but we won%26#39;t have a car %26amp; will be using BART. Are there any near a BART station or a Caltrain stop? Would really appreciate some advice. We have children to shop for %26amp; have been told these are good options. Have been to a Ross Dress for Less which was great - tiring but we got plenty of bargains. Cheers!

Here are the 4 closest T J Maxx%26#39;s. Not sure how close they are to BART or Caltrain. San Mateo and Redwood City could be close to a train station. Pleasant Hill might be an option on BART

dd%26#39;s discount has stores in Fresno and Sacramento. Maybe more will open before you arrive. These are too far away to be practical.
TJ MAXX %26amp; dd Discounts - where can we find one?
Boy, I%26#39;ve checked every single one of those TJ Maxx locations and none of them is less than a mile from any BART or Caltrain shop.
Have you already shopped at Marshall%26#39;s on 5th and Market? And the discount stores over by the Burlington Coat Factory on 5th and Mission? Nordstrom Rack on 9th and Bryant streets???
Thanks for those snippets! I haven%26#39;t shopped at any of those except for Marshalls. Which would you say would be the best option for children%26#39;s clothing? I have a daughter who is mad keen on Roxy %26amp; surf labels %26amp; a wee lad who loves anything Disney! :o)
I%26#39;ll have to defer to those who have kids and must shop for them. I have not paid enough attention to know if those labels can be found at the places I%26#39;ve mentioned.
I think the Burlington Coat Factory can be a bit of a zoo, but it%26#39;s a two-block walk from the Powell Street cable car turnaround, so it might be worth a look-see if you%26#39;re in the neighborhood. I like the Nordstrom Rack myself (it would be a short cab ride from dowtown to 9th and Bryant streets in the South of Market area).
You said you had been to a Ross, but didn%26#39;t say where. There is one at Market and 4th. It is also a zoo, but there are 3 floors of merchandise.
Ross has 3 other stores in S.F., also one at Serramonte in Daly City and one near the Berkeley downtown BART station. But I think the Market St. store has the biggest and best selection.
That sounds great! Thanks for that. Still wondering about the dd Discounts. Anyone know if there are any easy to get to? I have heard they have great prices. :o)
Girasol already noted that the nearest dd discounts are too far away. Fresno, for example, is a three-hour drive. They are so far away, I didn%26#39;t even know what they were.
Oops! That%26#39;s right - I am getting myself confused! Thanks for the hints everyone. It looks like we have plenty to go on. :o)
