I am travelling through California in September 2007, and have read many of the previous posts about places to see and stay. I would like to get some information on travelling times between certain places, I would like to get an idea on how long it would take if I drove it without stopping, although this is not my plan. It just helps me to sort out how much sightseeing I can get in during the trip. So if someone could give me an idea on how long it would take for the following trips, it would be appreciated.
Las Vegas to Stovepipe Wells Village via 160 to DV Junction %26amp; 190 to Stovepipe Wells
Stovepipe Wells to Yosemite NP via 190,136,395,120 to Yosemite Lodge at the Falls
Yosemite NP to Lake Tahoe via 120,395 through Grover Hot Springs State Park %26amp; Carsons Pass to Sth Lake Tahoe
Sth Lake Tahoe to Santa Rosa via 50 to Sacremento then 80 to Napa and over 12 to Hwy 101 to Santa Rosa
Most of my trip after this is pretty well covered. Any assistance on the above would be appreciated

Use Mapquest.com to uncover mileage and estimate time. Enter the starting and ending points in the appropriate areas in the lower half of the home page. (You may omit street addresses; you only need to enter the starting city and state and the ending city and state).
Mapquest will draw a route map, and disclose the mileage and estimated time.
Good luck!

I%26#39;m a little fuzzy on the traveling time it takes between these places, but I%26#39;d recommend you copy this post over to the Yosemite and Death Valley fora. Many of the folks on those boards are very familiar with the travel times.
Thanks for your replys. I have tried Mapquest, but it doesn%26#39;t let you select the entire route that I want to take. Although it does give a general idea, I was hoping for more accurate timings. I will copy this poste over to the Death Valley folder. Again, Thank You
RPKH, HSJ meant to say Google Maps, which lets you select intermediary points along your journey.
I have zero idea why anyone would use antiquated Mapquest when a much more sophisticated tool, Google Maps, is at your brower%26#39;s disposal.
