Restaurants near Four Seasons

We are thinking of staying at the Four Seasons for a week with another couple for some Golf for the Guys and spa/relaxation for the girls but we have never been to the Carlsbad area. Are there many good restaurants in the immediate area outside the hotel. I%26#39;m sure we%26#39;d eat once or twice at the hotel, but Hotel food usually slightly overpriced we%26#39;d like a change of pace

Restaurants near Four Seasons

Carlsbad is a suburban town inSanDiego county about 40min north of downtown SanDiego. I would hope that if you spent a week there you would have a car and do some sightseeing outside your hotel.

In the immediate town of Carlsbad therea re a few restaurants like Fidels and Vigiluccis that might be interesting but with a car you could go to other nearbytowns like Del Mar an dEncinitas and even into SanDiego to the neighborhoods of La Jolla and th egaslamp for more ideas.

Restaurants near Four Seasons

the Four Seasons hotel and grounds are surrounded by a large residential neighborhood, so there is nothing beyond the hotel restaurants within walking distance...there are plenty within a 5-10 minute drive...or a long walk

There is a nearby shopping center (Aviara Parkway and El Camino Real) that has a grocery store as well as a movie theatre and includes the following recommendations...

BBQ--I recommend Joey%26#39;s Smoking BBQ...great ribs, local place in a shopping center, very casual

Italian--Tuscany Restaurant, went there once and really enjoyed it

Pizza--Allen%26#39;s New York Pizza, sells by the slice as well, great meatball sandwiches

Near the Carlsbad Outlet shopping Center (I-5 and Palomar Airport Road) there is...

Seafood--King%26#39;s Fish House...never been, but have heard great things about this place

Bellfleur Restaurant--went there once for a buffet dinner and really enjoyed the food, a mix of entrees

Steak--upscale dining, new restaurant called West, VERY GOOD

Also around the Outlet center you can find the typical chain restaurants/fast food...TGIF, Marie Callendars, Sammy%26#39;s Woodfired pizza, Karl Strauss Brewery, Rubio%26#39;s, Island%26#39;s, Claim Jumpers, and many more

Let me know if you need anything else or are looking for a particular cuisine...

Try Tommy V%26#39;s for happy hour. A lot of fun in the bar. Corner of La Costa Ave and El Camino Real.
