Does anyone know about this property? I%26#39;ve read that it%26#39;s not a great location but a vinyard setting is not important to us this trip. We are quite familiar with the Napa/Sonoma area and will have a car. It seems like a lot, (493 sq ft., plasma tv%26#39;s, kitchen area/bar, balcony) for very little, $99.00 weekday, $149.00 weekend. The old adage, ';You get what you pay for'; comes to mind.

Vino Bello? Anyone ?
MSYbound-
Vino Bello is the resort condo portion of the new Meritage Hotel in south Napa. We%26#39;re not sure what services are included if you rent the condo, but we%26#39;ve heard that the facilities are nice (not all finished, but what is finished, is nicely done).
This is the off-season, so that rate is not very surprising, especially for a brand new property with construction going on (not everyone wants to live in a construction zone when they go on vacation).
Read the reviews of the Meritage-- they are love or hate. Size up the good and bad points, and see if it fits what you%26#39;re looking for. ';You get what you pay for'; means more that this is a new property, with very little ';buzz'; yet, and it%26#39;s still not completely done. That may not be a bad thing for you-- everyone is different. Read the reviews-- they%26#39;re a really good description of what is going on over there.
Enjoy your stay in the wine country! :)

Vino Bello? Anyone ?
Wow, love it or hate it is right! A lot of the criticism does seem to be about location. Fine if you are aware, tragic if not, I suppose. We are looking at March for the, (Mustard Festival) Marketplace event and it%26#39;s very resonable when everything else is high. I%26#39;m game. Thanks very much for your response.

I%26#39;m staying at Vino Bello right now! I did a little research prior to booking my room and I%26#39;m glad that I did. I am quite happy with the room and accomodations so far because I knew what to expect. It is in the middle of nothing, but down the street there are some okay restaurants and fast food places, if that%26#39;s what you are looking for. Last night, we ended up going to a Trader Joe%26#39;s and buying some groceries to make for dinner since nothing sounded great. We had a good time. I have not seen any construction going on as of yesterday and there were people enjoying the heated pool and jacuzzi last night. As far as accomodations go, it is a beautiful room for a great price.
Pooohsport,
As I said, setting isn%26#39;t really that important to me and I NEVER rely on room service. I%26#39;m much more interested in what%26#39;s inside the walls. I think I will be happy with this property. Thanks a lot for your reply. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay!!!!
I just booked Vino for our upcoming trip to Napa. We decided to go with the 1 room suite w/ full kitchen. For under $200 ... why not, huh!
I%26#39;m super excited as I have read great reviews about the rooms. I realize location is not great but we really don%26#39;t mind. As long as we%26#39;re getting a nice and comfortable room.
Update with details later.
