Hello
Could you suggest a few family-friendly hotels and restaurants ?
We will do some sightseeing (limited by the fact that we have our baby with us).
We are not sure if we will rent a car or not.
Thank you for helping us!
Where to stay with a 1 y.o (1 week March 2007) please
Los Angeles is a HUGE metropolitan centwr. If you aren%26#39;t going to rent a car, then you definitely need to stay in a relatively small area since taxis are expensive and long bus or metro rail rides for 1 year olds are not a lot of fun.
Our beaches aren%26#39;t really going to be that attractive in March. The water will be too cold to swim in and the beaches can be a little bit cool and breezy that time of year -- so playing in the sand would probably not work for you.
Except for business-oriented areas,, most neighborhoods have restaurants that are fun for kids -- after all, kids are everywhere.
Tell us a little bit more about what kind of sightseeing you are looking to do and perhaps we can recommend some neighborhoods that are close to those sites.
If you don%26#39;t know EXACTLY what you want to see, tell us the KINDS of things that interest you:
Museums, natural beauty, shopping, celebrity-spotting, etc.,etc.
Also, tell us your budget for a hotel room. Hotels are expensive in Los Angeles so using words like ';something affordable'; isn%26#39;t very helpful for us!
