Our husbands will be running the Rock N Roll marathon in June and we will be stayding at the Residence Inn downtown. Can anyone recommend a good casual italian restaurant?

You will only be a couple blocks from my favorite - Buon Appetito in Little Italy. But..... you will also be just a couple blocks from ALL the wonderful Italian restaurants in Little Italy, and about a miles from all the Italian restaurants in the Gaslamp District, so you%26#39;ll have a lot of choices..........

Everyone carb loads before the marathon though, so be prepared for long waits at any Italian restaurant.
