Drugstore / Convenience Store in Santa Monica?

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be in Santa Monica for a week in Jan. I was over a few weeks ago, but couldn%26#39;t find a drugstore. Could someone where I can find CVS, CA equivalent of Duane Reade, or even a K-Mart? I%26#39;ll be staying at the Huntley.

also look for Walgreen%26#39;s, Rite Aid and of course Target.

it also depends on what partare of santa monica you are staying in. if you are south of the 10 freeway (ocean park area), there%26#39;s a cvs on lincoln on the northwest corner of rose avenue. it%26#39;s technically venice by a couple of blocks. south from there, there%26#39;s a rite-aid on the other side of the street about 1/4 mile farther down. if you north of the freeway there%26#39;s a cvs just north of the freeway on the southeast corner of santa monica blvd and lincoln. that might be the one that%26#39;s closest to lots of the hotels in santa monica. you won%26#39;t find a k-mart or target here. we santa monicans voted down building those right in the city center.

didn%26#39;t see that you stated you were at the huntley, so the largest one that would be closest to where you are would probably be the cvs at santa monica and lincoln.

I know that it%26#39;s a sad thing that us Brits love US Drugstores, but since I moved back to the UK from the States I have to stock up on Junior Mints, Twizzlers and Advil every time I visit!

And everytime I go to the UK, I stock up on Boots facial products, Night Nurse and Lemsip!

Yogachick - I fly Saturday. Let me know if you need Lemsip or Night Nurse - judging by the weather reports you might need it there!!
