Fun Dining for young children

Any suggestions on anywhere fun to take kids to eat?

Fun Dining for young children

Every child is different so I am not sure what you mean by ';fun dining';. Where are you staying and do you have a car?

We will be staying at Mission bay and will have a rental car. As far as fun I was thinking something like a rainforest cafe or something that sits on the water so he could watch the boats or wind surfers ect.

You might want to try Pt Loma Seafoods on Shelter Island- if the weather is nice, you can sit outside and look at the boats docked nearby. Be sure your kids aren%26#39;t starving when you first arrive because it usually gets quite crowded and you%26#39;ll have a bit of a wait.

Seaport Village also has a bunch of casual food options and there%26#39;s fun people watching, you can sit right by the boardwalk and enjoy the outdoors, and I believe there%26#39;s still a carousel in the area.

As Tootallsd said - definitely Corvette Diner - it%26#39;s fun for everyone!

How old is he? You might also try Dave %26amp; Buster%26#39;s. They have an arcade in the restaurant, although it is seperated. You eat first and then play.

Anthony%26#39;s Fish Grotto is on the Bay, and casual and sit down.

World Famous in PB (very close to Mission Beach) is right on the ocean, next to the board walk, and they have a kids menu. He can watch the surfers and all the folks passing by on bikes and skateboards. Ask for the patio seating. They also serve breakfast.

94th Aero Squadron...it sits near a small airport runway, so you can watch airplanes and helicopters take off or land. They have a great Sunday brunch. The place has lots of memborabilia to look at as well.

For indoor dining Corvette Diner in Hillcrest is a must. Kids and adults love the atmosphere, the colorful staff and yummy food.

If you want a fun outdoor experience for the kids. Grab a picnic lunch and head for Balboa Park and the Botanical Gardens. Then take a stroll and visit the Reuben H. Fleet Center for safe interactive science experiments. If the kids are very small drive a short distance to the carousel and miniature railroad train ride near our famous zoo. Park in the zoo parking lot.

Depending on where you are staying, Panera Bakery can provide all the food you need for a picnic. They have several locations in San Diego and their paninis can%26#39;t be beat.

I%26#39;ll keep my fingers crossed that the weather is sunny for your visit.
