Loews Coronado Bay

Could anyone tell what this hotel is like can not find any reviews about it.

Looking for nice resort hotel for honeymoon in early September.

It%26#39;s a nice upscale hotel located on the ';silver strand'; that links Coronado to the mainland. It%26#39;s a good location if you will have a car - because it%26#39;s about a mile to the main part of Coronado. Here are the reviews:

Our family really enjoys our stays there. The rooms are large and comfortable, love the balconies. There is a lot of activities to do at the hotel or near by (tennis, spa, sailing, biking, etc...) The service is top notch.

Downside if you are on your honeymoon, they are very family friendly and pet friendly. They do however have an adult only pool and jacuzzi.

While it is a beautiful resort it should be noted that it is a bit off the beaten track. You will definitely need a vehicle if you wish to enjoy any of the typical tourist activities of San Diego, i.e., wander around the Gaslamp District, spend a day at the zoo or Balboa Park, etc.
