Hi- we have not been to Lake Tahoe in about 20 years and always then to visit family in the summer. We were thinking about coming for spring break as we can drive from Portland, Or. Ski Resorts usually stay open until the last Sunday in April. Though Squaw Valley stays open longer. Naturally they hope that there is sufficient snow until then. Last year there were so many late storms that there was still very deep snow when they closed and it continued to snow. Licenses and insurance require them to close on specific dates so even when there is alot of snow they gotta close. So if it%26#39;s like most years there will be snow at the end of March. It would be nice if would snow again soon as it hasn%26#39;t snowed for awhile now. It%26#39;s been cold but no new precip.

Keep your eye on the weather report. It%26#39;s too hard to predict what the weather will be like. March and April are really changeable.
