Anyone stayed at the Anaheim Islander Inn recently?

We found a pretty decent rate for our stay and just hope that this is a fairly clean, decent property. Anyone have any experience with them?

Anyone stayed at the Anaheim Islander Inn recently?

I stayed there in 1999 with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Our room had a separate bedroom and two queen sized beds in the living room with a small fridge and microwave. I believe it had the Disney channel. It was basic, but clean and a reasonable place at that time and I don%26#39;t remember anything so horrible it sticks out in my mind after this length of time. The free continental breakfast was just coffee, fruit and some packaged pastries.

The last review is terrible!!

I stayed there in August 2002 with family of four for seven nights. Maid turned off air conditioning daily (85 F outside) and fridge twice during stay with food in it. TV%26#39;s had 7 channels and breakfast was second worst in a hotel I%26#39;ve seen. (Hotel in Luray, VA was worse) However for the price the hotel was an OKay place to crash at night. For the price is it an OKay hotel.

I also have booked into the Anaheim Islander Inn for September. I haven%26#39;t been able to find too many reviews for this hotel, which could in fact be a good thing. People tend to report bad experiences before they report good ones. I think if you are just after a basic clean hotel close to Disneyland and you aren%26#39;t worried about tv channels etc. then u cant really go wrong. I%26#39;m just gonna see what happens when we get there and deal with it, but I%26#39;m sure it will be a great hotel. After all, it%26#39;s only a short distance to the park. I%26#39;m impressed with their communication. Nothing but praise for their work so far......Here%26#39;s hoping!!
