My 10 year old stepson just got invited to the pirate party this weekend. In looking on the internet to get some info. it seems to me an adult type event with lots of partying and drinking. Is it something for children also?

I know this is past but I had to comment...I used to work over in two harbors and from personal experience I would have to say that no, buccanneers weekend is absolutely not for children. There may be activities for children but there are just too many activities indulged in by the %26#39;adults%26#39; that just don%26#39;t need to be seen or heard by the kiddies...and I would definately keep any teenage daughters under lock and key
