First 4 Days of a Honeymoon in June - Which Great Hotel ??

We starting the first 4 Days of our Honeymoon by flying to LA and want to stay somewhere which is a bit Special around Santa Monica. Any suggestions ??

We are thinking of Staying somewhere close to the Beach for 3 Days and then maybe spend our final Night, before we head up the Coast, at The Mondrian Hotel to get a taste of Hollywood.

Any help or suggeations would be much appreciated

Depends on budget, but nothing is nicer than Shutters on the Beach for a honeymoon.

There%26#39;s also Loews, Viceroy, Casa del Mar... just click on your left, Santa Monica Hotels. Viceroy is very much like Mondrian.

It seems like it%26#39;s a straight Race between Loews %26amp; Shutters then !!

Have you thought about staying at a B%26amp;B? There is such a pretty one called the Channel Road Inn; just a short walk to the beach. It was an historic home that the owners renovated. We haven%26#39;t stayed there (yet), but we%26#39;ve stayed at their other inn in Playa del Rey.

They let us poke our heads in all the open rooms when we stopped in to look around (I%26#39;m nosy!). It%26#39;s very romantic and the staff seemed really nice.
