Soccer help please

We will be in San Francisco in early August with our 2 boys ages 12 and 14 who are soccer/football crazy. They would love to join in some kind of soccer camp/activity day for 1-3 days.... In other cities in the past they have really enjoyed spending time with local kids, playing the sport they love most. Any ideas of anything soccer wise happening then for kids? We are staying on Columbus Ave.

ryburn285 - I do not have the details, but you may want to check with the City Parks and Recreation Department. At Balboa Park (right next to the BART station for very easy access) there is a soccer stadium where schools play during the year, and in the summer one always sees groups playing or practicing in the other fields in that park. There is also an indoor public swimming pool there; I%26#39;m sure your boys will find what you are looking for.
