We%26#39;ll be in San Diego for Saturday night (1/27) and need a hotel recommendation. Mission Valley or Downtown. Are any hotels running any specials?

I don%26#39;t know about specials, but I have stayed at both the Red Lion Hanalei Hotel in Mission Valley and the Holiday Inn on the Bay downtown and recommend both. It is more likely that the Hanalei will be less. There are parking charges at both, with less of a fee at the Hanalei. Click on my user name to see my review of that hotel. Show your AAA card and save at both hotels.

For the Hanalei I recommend requesting pool view lower floor. For the Holiday Inn On the Bay I recommend requesting a bay view upper floor.
