We are planning coast to coast for June. We have done West coast tour before so ok on San Fransico/yosemite/death valley/grand canyon/las vegas but would love to know what to watch out for after Grand canyon. following approx. route 66 advise which forum to use for such a trip would be usefull

I%26#39;d first suggest you pick up a road atlas for the USA - it%26#39;s hard to get a grasp on a trip that big while looking at online maps.

If you%26#39;re trying to approximate the full length of old Rte. 66 before driving direct to Boston:

Rte. 40 to Rte. 44 to Rte 55

The larger cities you%26#39;ll pass through:

Flagstaff, AZ

Albuquerque, NM

Amarillo, TX

Oklahoma City, OK

Tulsa, OK

St. Louis, MO

Chicago, IL

From Chicago onward it%26#39;ll depend on what you want to see. The quickest will be a straight shot on Rte 90. Taking you through:

Toledo, OH

Cleveland, OH

Bufflalo, NY (Niagara Fall is just down the road)

Rochest, NY

Albany, NY

Boston, MA
