I am an architectural design student who is working on project similar to a ronald mcdonald house. I would love to hear user reviews from anyone who has stay at a RMH. The general information I am looking for includes: How long was your stay? Where did you stay? What accomodations did you feel were most helpful? What accomodations were lacking? Which other family members stayed? Did the RMS address the needs of the siblings that stayed there?
Any information at all would be wonderful! I would be so appreciative to hear any and all responses.
Thank you!
Sara

I think it won%26#39;t be likely that you will hear from anyone regarding staying at the Ronald McDonald House here, since the accomodations they provide are for families of children with life threatening diseases and this is more of a travel website. But here is a link to their charities website and the page with the locations.

Perhaps you can contact someone at one of the locations and see if they can put you in touch with any families willing to share with you. I noticed you are from Oregon. The link should open up to locations in California, but you can also check to see if there are locations in Oregon closer to you and that may allow you to be able to make your contacts easier.
I believe the accomodations are on site of the Ronald McDonald House and they are always located near a major hospital. We have one in my area, located in Loma Linda, California, and it is actually across the street (kitty corner) from the Loma Linda University Medical Center. LLUMC is a very busy hospital, so if you do want to contact a RMH in California, you might want to try that one.
Hopes this helps.
