Shopping and dining areas along the water

Hi, is there any waterfront strrips with shops and restaurants (maybe a shopping complex) in Laguna Beach.

How far Is Newport beach away from Laguana Beach? Is there any similar strips or complex that I described above?

I%26#39;m not sure I%26#39;m answering this correctly, but if I understand you, Laguna Beach, the town, is on the beach. In the center of town, there is beach on one side, town on the other. Many shops, and restaurants. Some with great views. New Port (I%26#39;m not a local, so guessing) is maybe 8 to 10 miles north and has the Balboa Island area. Lots of shops,,, NP also has Fashion Island a very nice outdoor mall with many shops. Hope that helps.

Between Newport and Laguna you will find the Crystal Cove Promenade. Stores like Williams Sonoma and Banana Republic are alongside local establishments and restaurants. Nearby and right on the water is the Beachcomber restaurant. Especially good for breakfast..a bit of a wait for dinner....nice walk from the parking lot or a shuttle can be taken. Vinatge cottages dot the water line including the one used in the movie Beaches.
