looking for any beachside luxury resort near town /small city with some mellow nightlife for a family with teen kids and two adults. We would like to sit and sunbathe while the kids can surf and play tennis. The choices seem so many I cannot pinpoint one%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Thanks

I%26#39;d try the Seascape Resort in Aptos. There%26#39;s lots of tennis courts at the Seascape Sports Club about a block away. But just to warn you, this area gets lots of fog - but after noon, should be warm and sunny.

I don%26#39;t know about surfing, however at the resort. There may not be the waves. Surfing in Santa Cruz, however, either at Pleasure Point or Steamer%26#39;s Lanje.
