hello,
can you help, we are going to San Francisco on the 3rd April 2006 for seven nights. We want to visit the national park. Any reccommendationds?
We were thinking of booking a 1 day tour any one done one of these? Price about 130 us dollars each by mini bus.
Also seen a train one.
Looking for some ideas to help and what will the weather be like??

There are a lot of threads on this subject on this forum...do a search and see what fits you. For me, it wouldn%26#39;t be a good day to spend 4 or 5 hours in a bus, or combo bus/train, to only spend three or four hours in the Park and then do the trip back to the City. I would do it with an overnight. Otherwise, you are sort of like...';If it%26#39;s 2 o%26#39;clock it must be Mariposa Grove';. Some will disagree with me.
On the other hand, I wouldn%26#39;t want you to take an extra day from San Francisco, so....perhaps I would do it just to see the park and promise to come back later and spend some time in it. Really hard question.

While it is far better to spend more time than a single day, it is still better to do a quick one day tour than to not see Yosemite at all.
